Financial Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team at Wythe Windows, Inc., a fast-growing high-performance windows and door manufacturer.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing inventory processes and the ability to distinguish between sales and liabilities.
This role is vital for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:- Record financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and bank statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including issuing invoices and tracking payments.
- Process payroll accurately and on time.
- Categorize state taxes and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain a detailed paper trail of all transactions by vendors and clients.
- Record foreign currency transactions accurately by creating an exchange rate account to track gains and losses on exchange rates.
- Keep track of clients' tax-exempt certificates.
- Prepare financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and guidelines.
- Support budgeting processes and monitor performance against budgets.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with other departments, vendors, and tax authorities, if necessary.
- Meet with management regularly to review bank reconciliations, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Use accounting software proficiently to manage financial data.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing inventory processes.
- Ability to differentiate between sales and liabilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- High level of integrity and reliability.
- Experience in recording foreign currency transactions and managing exchange rate accounts.
**Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience, with experience in the manufacturing sector preferred.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
