Sociology Professor

This tenure-track position is available in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work, within the College of Arts & Sciences. As an Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, advising students, and developing your own research program. You will also have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff, and contribute to the department's efforts to promote diversity and inclusion.

• Ph.D. in Sociology or a related field from an accredited university
• A record of teaching excellence and experience in mentoring students
• Research experience and publication record in the areas of environmental sociology

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $90,000 per year, based on national averages and the location of the university. This is a full-time, 9-month appointment, with benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
