Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at ORA Orthopedics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic imaging and excellent patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic imaging exams using x-ray equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and positioning them correctly
  • Operate and maintain equipment, reporting any malfunctions to the Radiology Supervisor
  • Inspect exam rooms for cleanliness and organization, stocking them with necessary supplies
  • Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers to prepare sterile injections and assist with procedures
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program preferred
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) certification required
  • License to practice in Iowa and Illinois required
  • At least one year of x-ray experience; flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays
  • Reliable commute to all ORA locations as needed
