Position Summary:
The Advanced Analytics Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting various Business Units and functional teams by leveraging the myQ Azure data platform. This position is integral to the Advanced Analytics team, which utilizes advanced tools to ingest, process, store, and analyze extensive volumes of transactional data derived from user interactions and connected devices through mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Data Analytics and Visualization team to gather user requirements, develop wireframes, and outline project scopes while managing timelines effectively.
- Assist in the creation, testing, and documentation of structured data models that facilitate front-end analytical solutions.
- Develop and maintain front-end data visualizations that align with organizational KPIs and metrics, ensuring consistency across all data outputs.
Essential Duties:
- Design impactful data visualizations that convey narratives and provide actionable insights, aiding stakeholders in making informed decisions.
- Contribute to the development of reusable data solutions applicable across various reporting tools and applications.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to integrate data from different Chamberlain Group systems, establishing governance and ensuring data quality.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Analytics/Business Intelligence, focusing on creating actionable, data-driven solutions. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense and Power BI is essential.
- Familiarity with data manipulation and complex ETL processes to construct logical data schemas that support multiple reports or business applications.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in SQL and knowledgeable about handling large, unstructured data sets.
- Understanding of data warehouse and data modeling concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering insightful analysis and developing user training materials.
- Experience with Azure cloud architecture and the Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Qlik Sense or Power BI Development and Design.
- Exposure to Azure components such as Synapse, Databricks, and ADLS Gen 2, along with experience in web-based data visualization.
