Job Overview:

We're looking for a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team in Latin America. As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our international members seeking medical treatments or procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate approvals, eligibility, and inform medical providers about policy and client authorizations
  2. Track and follow up on all cases in Latin America, ensuring appropriate follow-up with medical providers
  3. Provide guidance, support, and advice to international members seeking medical treatments or procedures
  4. Respond to routine phone inquiries and written correspondence related to authorizations and claims status
  5. Screen and route complex cases to the appropriate manager
  6. Navigate multiple systems to obtain necessary data to issue GOPs
  7. Verify payments and/or denials as well as treatment authorization status and inform the appropriate party accordingly

What You'll Need:
  • Bilingual/English and Spanish required; Portuguese/French a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, health insurance field a plus
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and accuracy skills required
  • Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to change

Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 per year (based on location and experience)
