Job Description:


As a Licensed Land Surveyor, you will collaborate with both entry-level and seasoned survey professionals, along with other relevant support personnel, to deliver survey-related services for client projects.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the technical components of projects are executed in accordance with the company's quality standards, ultimately providing an exceptional client experience.


In this role, you will lead projects, ensuring adherence to proper practices and techniques, while offering guidance, review, and support to the survey team.

You will plan, organize, and oversee project elements, managing multiple clients concurrently. Additionally, you will communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with project teams, clients, and the public.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize, assign, and monitor the work of field survey crews.
  • Oversee multiple project teams in the field.
  • Ensure adherence to the company's safety protocols.
  • Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Conduct surveys to ascertain precise locations, measurements, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, mapping, land division, titles, mining, or other surveying-related purposes.
  • Perform construction staking, planning, reports, maps, plats, deeds, local geography, physical evidence, legal descriptions, and research.
  • Guarantee the accuracy of documents and deliverables produced by the team.
  • Instruct, train, and mentor crew members.
  • Collaborate with project team members and clients to lead, prepare, and participate in project proposals and interviews.
  • Effectively manage and deliver projects on-time and within budget.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or equivalent survey field experience.
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate motorized vehicles.
  • Ability to traverse uneven terrain up to ten miles per day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds.
  • Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Nice-to-Haves:

  • Personal interest in the infrastructure industry or surveying subject matter.
  • Experience with specific surveying software or tools.

Education:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or equivalent survey field experience.

Pay & Benefits Summary

Compensation ranges from $100k-$120k based on experience. Comprehensive benefits package available.
