Automotive Painter / Body Repair Specialist

Are you skilled in the art of automotive painting and body repair? Vermont SportsCar is seeking a dedicated professional to enhance our esteemed team.

In the role of Automotive Painter / Body Repair Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include preparing and painting a variety of automotive components, ranging from intricate assemblies to complete chassis. Your tasks will encompass stripping, masking, sanding, priming, and painting, among others. Additionally, you may provide support to the Composites Department as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize tools and equipment with accuracy
  • Achieve production and quality standards
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to adhere to project timelines
  • Conduct maintenance on tools and machinery
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a tidy workspace
  • Assist with racing initiatives as necessary

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in painting and bodywork
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Team-oriented individual with a commitment to integrity

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items
  • Good vision and manual dexterity
