Position Overview: The MRI Technologist is responsible for reviewing MRI requests and determining the appropriate protocols to ensure high-quality diagnostic images. This role requires the application of proper techniques to capture optimal films for diagnostic evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting MRI examinations
- Performing clinical responsibilities
- Initiating IV access for contrast studies as necessary
- Reviewing MRI safety screening with patients
- Assessing the MRI safety of implants
- Executing additional tasks as assigned, including equipment and supply maintenance
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Certification as an American Registered Radiologic Technologist and Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist
Experience:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare facility
- Demonstrated clinical skills complemented by excellent customer service abilities
Incentives:
