The Maintenance Specialist will provide mechanical and preventative maintenance duties in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of equipment, trucks, and vehicles at our location.
This role is responsible for ensuring all machinery is in good working condition to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to perform routine maintenance tasks efficiently.
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician who can maintain and repair heavy equipment, including trucks and vehicles. The successful candidate will have experience with various types of equipment and be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain equipment records, including maintenance schedules and parts inventory.
- Inspect and diagnose problems with equipment and make necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
- Order and stock parts as needed.
- Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a related field, preferably with a commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety manuals and technical guides.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
