Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our rapidly growing team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance evaluations. The successful candidate will also conduct thorough investigations, provide counsel to supervisors and managers, and maintain accurate records of employee interactions and resolutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, addressing queries, concerns, and grievances. Foster a positive working environment by proactively identifying and addressing potential sources of conflict or dissatisfaction. Provide counsel to supervisors and managers on employee relations matters, ensuring fairness and consistency.
  • Investigations: Conduct thorough, unbiased investigations in response to employee complaints or allegations of policy violations. Collaborate with legal and management teams when necessary during investigations. Ensure all investigations are timely, compliant with legal requirements, and thoroughly documented.
  • HR Administration: Oversee various HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Training and Development: Develop and facilitate training programs focused on workplace conduct, conflict resolution, and other pertinent topics. Support the professional growth and development of our staff through skill-building initiatives.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, a minimum of 4 years of HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations and investigations is required.
  • Knowledge of California state and local labor regulations and laws is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting thorough and impartial HR investigations is necessary.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity is crucial.
