Position Summary:
The Warehouse Worker plays a crucial role within our Operations Team, responsible for accurately fulfilling orders based on pick tickets and ensuring the efficient loading of delivery trucks. This position involves various physical tasks related to the handling of products, materials, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pull orders based on pick tickets for loading onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse and production areas.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing products for accuracy and accountability.
- Restock and replenish inventory as necessary.
- Operate industrial power equipment safely and efficiently.
- Stage completed pallets in designated locations.
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to specified areas.
- Load and unload trailers and route trucks as required.
- Build orders according to load tickets using industrial equipment.
- Manually lift and move products to ensure proper stock rotation and date code accuracy.
- Meet productivity standards consistently.
- Adhere to safety standards and good manufacturing practices.
- Comply with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 0 - 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Prior experience in warehouse or production environments is advantageous.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
- Capability to stand for extended periods while performing job duties.
Work Environment:
- Moderate noise levels due to operational equipment.
- Potentially slippery surfaces in certain areas.
- Heavy forklift traffic in the warehouse.
