About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and regain independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement and execute treatment plans, utilizing a range of techniques and modalities to promote patient progress and recovery.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their support systems, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, including daily notes, reassessments, and discharge plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical knowledge and best practices, participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, with a Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist, with valid CPR certification.
  • Experience working with EMR software, with a strong understanding of reimbursement systems and their impact on patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
