Position Overview
The Travel Nurse RN specializing in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to neonates and their families. This role emphasizes independent and collaborative nursing practices in accordance with established standards and competencies specific to the NICU environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care
  • Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Work Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts

The RN will engage in various nursing functions, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The role requires the RN to develop and modify care plans, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and delegate tasks to other healthcare providers as necessary.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU nursing
  • Experience in newborn stabilization and resuscitation
  • Current certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), NRP
  • Preferred: STABLE certification and experience in Level 2/3 NICU
  • Epic experience is a plus
