Position Overview:

The Physical Therapist Assistant

Operates under the guidance of the Team Coordinator and/or Clinical Specialist, and the leadership of the Rehab Therapy Services Team Leader, Supervisor, and/or Inpatient or Outpatient Manager.

Implements a treatment plan as established by a licensed Physical Therapist, aimed at restoring patients to their highest level of function.

Collaborates with all members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient and team outcomes.

Encourages enhancements in service, department, and hospital systems to benefit patient care.

Integrates and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the organization.

Educational Requirements:

Completion of an Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Required Licensure and Certification:

Licensure from the State of Maryland, Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.

Current AHA Healthcare Provider Certification.

Work Experience:

Successful completion of clinical internships as mandated by the academic program.

Salary Range: Minimum $23.27 per hour - Maximum $40.91 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
