About this Role
NYC Health + Hospitals seeks a highly skilled Enterprise Radiology Business Intelligence Specialist to lead the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions for Radiology operations.
This role involves overseeing the daily administration, troubleshooting, user training, and ongoing improvement/new report development of the Enterprise Radiology Business Intelligence Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business intelligence solutions to support Radiology operations, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization
- Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements in Radiology clinical/operational areas
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior business analysts and IT staff
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics
Requirements
Education: A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of study.
Experience: Five years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems, and applications. Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years). Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experience.
Technical Skills:
- MS SQL skills where you have created queries, pulled large data sets, and performed data manipulations/analysis (SQL Server MCSA certification a plus)
- Experience in data analytics and visualization (Tableau, MS PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated knowledge of the applications of automated information systems and electronic medical record systems (EPIC, SPSS, SAS, etc.)
- Advanced Excel and Access skills
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, we provide retirement savings and pension plans, paid holidays, and vacation in accordance with employees' collectively bargained contracts.
