The YMCA of Columbia Willamette is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cook to join our team at YMCA Camp Collins. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing healthy meals and snacks for our campers and retreat guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals in a timely and efficient manner.
- Supervise and train food service staff to ensure high-quality service and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our guests.
- Collaborate with the food service manager to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
- At least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in food preparation and service.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- First aid and CPR certification.
Working Environment:
The majority of your time will be spent working in a kitchen environment. You will be required to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges.
