Executive Chef

The YMCA of Columbia Willamette is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cook to join our team at YMCA Camp Collins. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing healthy meals and snacks for our campers and retreat guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals in a timely and efficient manner.
• Supervise and train food service staff to ensure high-quality service and cleanliness standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our guests.
• Collaborate with the food service manager to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food preparation and service.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• First aid and CPR certification.

Working Environment:

The majority of your time will be spent working in a kitchen environment. You will be required to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges.
