About the Role

FCH Enterprises is seeking a detail-oriented and courteous Catering Event Server to join our team on an on-call basis. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Function Preparation:
    • Assist in setting up banquet halls, including tables, chairs, tablecloths, and decorations.
    • Prepare beverages and food as needed for the event.
    • Check bathrooms to ensure they are clean and well-stocked.
  • During the Function:
    • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting guests with a smile and ensuring their needs are met.
    • Service guests with food and drinks as required.
    • Assist with cutting and serving cake, if applicable.
  • Post-Function:
    • Buses tables and removes remaining trash from the function area.
    • Clean bathrooms and perimeter of the banquet hall.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Catering Manager to ensure a smooth operation.
Requirements
  • Scheduling: On-call availability is required.
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds, with occasional lifting of 20-30 pounds.
  • Mental Ability: Action-oriented, detail-oriented, and strong communication skills are essential.
  • Education and Experience: High school education preferred, with no prior experience necessary (training provided).
