Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at ECU Health Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Standards of Practice.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify expected outcomes, and develop plans of care to achieve those outcomes.
  • Implement interventions, evaluate patient progress, and document care provided.
  • Promote effective functioning of the healthcare team and collaborate with team members to meet patient needs.
  • Delegate tasks and activities as appropriate and governed by the NC Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Nursing, Associate's in Nursing, or higher.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Experience working in a hospital setting.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records and PC-based applications.
