Job Summary

Tennova Healthcare - North Knoxville Medical Center is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg, Ortho/Oncology team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg, Ortho, and Oncology patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Current RN license in the state of Tennessee
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
