We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Forensic Nurse Examiner to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Forensic Nurse Examiner, you will play a critical role in providing expert care and support to victims of sexual assault.
Key Responsibilities- Perform forensic examinations for the collection and preservation of evidence for sexual assault cases
- Provide follow-up care and support to victims
- Participate in the judicial process and provide expert testimony and witnessing
- BSN preferred; Associates degree in Nursing (nursing diploma or by endorsement) required
- 2 years' experience in acute care setting or outpatient women's health
- Advanced assessment skills
- Current CO RN license in state of employment or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact, required
- Current BLS certification required from American Heart Association
- Completion of 64 hours of online SANE training required
