Communications Specialist for Student Success

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Welby, Colorado. As an SLP or SLPA, you will provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders, conduct evaluations and assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
- Attend meetings and provide reports on student progress
Requirements:
- A valid Colorado State SLP License is required
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent is also required
- Prior school-based experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
