Family Service Counselor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Service Counselor to join our team at Park Lawn Memorial Group, LLC. As a Family Service Counselor, you will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with client families, ensuring their needs are met, and providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain professional relationships with client families to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide tours and guidance to families to ensure they are comfortable with our cemetery lot locations.
- Develop and implement strategies to exceed client family expectations and obtain referrals.
- Ensure compliance with state and industry regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Accurately complete required documents and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with funeral homes, departments, and team members to provide seamless service to client families.
- Meet or exceed company standards in revenue generation to maintain employment and benefits eligibility status.
- Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred.
- Proven track record of success in outside sales production strongly preferred.
- May require possession of an insurance license as required by applicable state law.
- Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Bilingual is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) preferred.
- Tactful and professional when dealing with complaints or dissatisfaction with services or merchandise.

- The duties associated with this position are generally performed in an indoor office setting.
- Outdoor duties may require exposure to natural elements such as inclement weather, extreme temperatures, uneven ground, dust, gas, and/or fumes.
This position may require up to 10 percent out of area and overnight travel.
