Position Summary and Requirements

As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the Operating Room team.

You will operate under the direct supervision of the OR nurse, ensuring the sterile field, managing instrumentation, maintaining sterile techniques, and performing other necessary tasks during surgical procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, treatment options, and care of patients across various age groups.
  • Functioning as the scrub person during surgical procedures.
  • Assisting in the intra-operative care of patients by executing assigned technical duties.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Current CST certification through NBSTSA.
  • BLS certification upon hire.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience.
