We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida West Hospital. As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze comprehensive data to determine patient diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
- Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide effective care and ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients and their families about medications, procedures, and treatments, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
- 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferred.
- BLS, (AHA Healthcare provider) required prior to start.
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
