Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Department nurse to join our team. As a travel nurse RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, assessing and treating patients with a range of conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and use medical equipment as needed.
- Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest emergency nursing practices and protocols.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Kansas.
- At least 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department or a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
