Heavy Equipment Technician

Penske Logistics is a leading provider of transportation, logistics, and technology services. We're seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician I to join our team in maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles. As a Diesel Mechanic/Technician I at Penske, you'll have the opportunity to work on various types of equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and diagnose problems. You'll also be responsible for mentoring and training other technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair trucks and trailers, including performing routine maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with vehicles.
- Collaborate with other technicians to achieve team goals and improve efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the industry.
Requirements:
- 6 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or technician.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred.
- ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
