Position Overview:


The Cardiac Telemetry Unit, known as 3 South, is an 18-bed facility where the Registered Nurse (RN) delivers care to patients admitted with various cardiac conditions, including sepsis, COPD, pneumonia, and stroke.

The RN is also responsible for managing patients who require antiarrhythmic non-titrated infusions.

This unit serves a diverse patient population with multiple health issues, necessitating close collaboration with our Cardiologists and Hospitalists to ensure comprehensive patient care.

The RN will employ the nursing process in delivering care and will operate within the parameters set by the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas, alongside the policies, procedures, and standards established by the Health System.


Safety Sensitive Position:
This role is classified as a "Safety Sensitive Position" in accordance with Act 593 of the State of Arkansas.

Being under the influence of substances such as Marijuana poses a risk to patients and customers, which Conway Regional is committed to mitigating in the provision of healthcare services.


Qualifications:

  • Current, active Registered Nurse license to practice in Arkansas
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • If less than one year of experience as a Registered Nurse, a BSN degree must be obtained within four years of hire.
  • Preferred certification in relevant nursing specialties
  • Proof of high school diploma or equivalent education
  • Basic keyboarding skills are preferred
