We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team for a travel assignment in Chicago, Illinois.

Job Summary:

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during, and after surgery. The ideal candidate will have 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting and be certified in BLS and ACLS.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during, and after surgery.
  • Work as a circulating nurse or scrub nurse, handling and preparing operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
  • Active RN License.
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
