KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform essential register operations and provide outstanding customer service within the retail environment.
  • Welcome customers as they enter the store.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers in finding and purchasing products.
  • Be open to cross-training in both the production and sales of merchandise as needed.
  • Maintain a reliable attendance and punctuality record.
  • Engage in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols; report any accidents, injuries, or safety concerns to the designated safety personnel.
  • Follow Goodwill's policies and procedures while performing assigned tasks.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to accurately operate a cash register, calculator, and credit card processing equipment.
  • Demonstrated good judgment in identifying items suitable for sale.
  • Capability to follow instructions and comply with established policies and procedures.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
