Warehouse Associate Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team at Grainger Businesses. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include safely completing outbound warehouse tasks, such as unloading, sorting, labeling, and packing, with high quality. You will also be responsible for ensuring products are packed and shipped correctly to exceed customers' expectations for quality and delivery speed. Additionally, you will meet requirements for safety, quality, productivity, behavior, attendance, and overtime as needed. You will operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements. If you are a detail-oriented and team-oriented individual with a passion for logistics and supply chain management, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely complete outbound warehouse tasks, including unloading, sorting, labeling, and packing, with high quality
* Ensure products are packed and shipped correctly to exceed customers' expectations for quality and delivery speed

* Operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age
* Ability to receive feedback and work well in a team environment
* Comfortability working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working around moving equipment and elevated stations

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous warehouse, retail, or customer service experience in fast-paced environments
* Great attention to detail, quality, and safety
