Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a solid understanding of DoD acquisition processes and relevant cybersecurity frameworks, including the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Hold certifications such as GSEC, Security+, or SSCP.
  • Conduct assessments utilizing adversarial tools and techniques to identify vulnerabilities in network-enabled and web applications.
  • Recommend mitigation strategies and countermeasures to address identified threats.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to ensure the application of software security engineering principles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, OSCP, GPEN, GWAPT, GSSP, or CEH.
  • Experience in systems administration, particularly with Linux, including security settings and system hardening; familiarity with shell scripting or Python is advantageous.
  • Experience in implementing software solutions that comply with NIST SP security controls.
