Job Title: Early Childhood Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Coordinator will be responsible for developing leaders for the early childhood ministry at Prairie Lakes Church, coordinating programming and production activities, and managing data and environments for children aged birth to 5 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, schedule, and develop volunteers to serve in the early childhood ministry.
  • Train and equip team leaders to shepherd volunteers and provide effective ministry.
  • Coordinate content for early childhood teaching and leadership training.
  • Manage data through the church database, including children, parents, and leaders.
  • Prepare early childhood environments for each weekend and maintain their attractiveness and engagement.
  • Provide tools and partnerships for parents to equip them in their role as primary spiritual caregivers.
  • Coordinate and execute Child Dedication Orientation and Child Dedication events.
  • Be present on weekends to execute early childhood programming and events and be available to parents in the lobby.
  • Initiate relationships with early childhood visitors and new members to partner with parents and assimilate children into the ministry.
  • Communicate with parents through various methods, keeping them informed of early childhood teaching and events.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, the candidate must be a Christian who fully supports the philosophy of Prairie Lakes Church and its leadership team. The individual's commitment to Christ will be evident in their personal life, family relationships, and ministry.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for children, the ability to lead with discernment, and strong interpersonal skills to relate to both adults and young children.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a nonsmoking environment with a moderate noise level.
