Carpenter/Wood Shop Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Wood Shop Associate to join our team at Lands' End. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the layout, installation, repair, finishing, and maintenance of various structures, fixtures, and buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to ensure accurate construction.
• Assess the quality of woodwork and materials needed for completing a job, ensuring compliance with local building codes and established health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other woodworkers on various projects, adhering to all safety rules and company policies.
• Operate woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools to construct and repair structures, fixtures, and buildings.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting project deadlines and maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience as a woodworker or carpentry apprenticeship.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well under pressure, with tight deadlines, while maintaining high standards.
• Physical fitness, with good hand-eye coordination, and ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
