Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join our team at W A Kendall and Company LLC.
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
Job Description:This is a challenging role that requires the ability to operate heavy equipment of various types to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for assisting in preparing equipment and materials for each day's work, operating equipment as directed by the Foreperson, and helping maintain and repair equipment and tools used in operations.
You will also be responsible for cleaning up and disposing of all debris, setting up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc. to protect employees and the public, and tracking and reporting mileage to the Foreperson. Additionally, you may be required to perform duties during storm restoration work when needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Valid Class A CDL
- Prior heavy equipment operating experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries
- High School diploma or education equivalent
- Must be knowledgeable about daily maintenance and safe operations of all equipment used
- Must possess physical strength and good balance to climb into and around mobile equipment
Estimated Salary: $72,500 based on industry standards and location
