Norman Regional Health System is Hiring a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, preparing equipment, and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures.

We have a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists work closely with our staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Job Description

This position involves preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, establishing and maintaining a sterile environment, and collaborating with physicians to ensure excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparation and maintenance of procedural areas and equipment
  • Patient assessment and preparation for procedures
  • Maintenance of sterile environments
  • Collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Servicing as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completed 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology
  • Current registration as a Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire
