We are seeking a highly skilled Test Technician to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for performing debug activities on assemblies with test failure occurrences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze failure data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct in-circuit and functional tests based on customer requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Responsible for data input of auditing/testing activities into quality systems, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Perform debug activities to ensure products meet manufacturing testing requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
- Follow test procedures, customer drawings, and/or visual aids to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Provide feedback to the engineering department for test procedure improvements, contributing to the development of best practices.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors relative to defect findings, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
- Participate in performance feedback and contribute to the development of team members.
- Escalate issues regarding quality to supervisor/quality engineer, ensuring prompt attention and resolution.
- Escalate issues regarding malfunctioning test fixtures to supervisor and/or maintenance staff, ensuring timely repair and maintenance.
- Train and educate ICT FCT Tech I in troubleshooting and debugging, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, supporting the team's goals and objectives.
