Job Summary:

Matheny Medical and Educational Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing patient-focused respiratory therapy services, participating in Code Blue team drills and evaluations, and providing education and staff training.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient-focused respiratory therapy services
  • Participate in Code Blue team drills and evaluations
  • Provide education and staff training
  • Provide oversight for environmental safety and equipment management
  • Comply with all appropriate Joint Commission and CARF standards of care
  • Participate in the interdisciplinary pulmonary clinics

Requirements:
  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Current CPR Healthcare Certification required (BLS and AED)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification preferred (ACLS)
  • National Board of Respiratory certification required
