Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Travel Physical Therapist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and provide high-quality physical therapy services in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Travel Physical Therapist will be responsible for organizing and conducting a medically prescribed physical therapy program to restore function, prevent disability, and help patients reach their maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical therapy interventions aligned with current evidence to meet or exceed the National Benchmarks for functional improvement.
  • Accurately document physical therapy treatments for each patient with charges generated and notes being locked by midnight the day of the patient encounter.
  • Demonstrate all APTA values associated with professionalism, including accountability, altruism, compassion, excellence, integrity, professional duty, and social responsibility.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and the public in a manner that upholds the values of Healthcare Staffing Plus.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred two years' experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Doctorate in physical therapy with 10 years experience or Masters degree with 5 years experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required.
