Equipment Specialist

U.S. Environmental Rental is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Equipment Technician to join our team in Hamilton, NJ. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the preparation and maintenance of our environmental equipment for rental orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and clean incoming rental equipment for damages
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any damaged equipment
- Calibrate, prepare, and perform diagnostics on all equipment prior to rental
- Assign appropriate equipment to rental orders
- Quality check orders for completeness and accuracy
- Package equipment according to manufacturers' specifications
- Provide technical support and training to clients via phone, email, and in-person
- Cross-train with all environmental departments
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED, Bachelor of Science preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with small electronics and/or environmental technology
- Enthusiasm to learn about environmental equipment and its application
