Job Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and pulmonary function testing.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and report outcomes to healthcare teams.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, with accurate documentation.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to patient emergencies within 30 minutes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently, as needed.
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with a strong background in cardiopulmonary care.
  • Graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
  • Certifications may be required, depending on facility specifications.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment, push/pull, and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
