About the Role

Community HigherEd Institute, a leader in beauty and fashion education, is in search of skilled Estheticians for the role of Substitute Master Instructor. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of experience in the beauty and skincare sector and hold a Master Instructor License or be willing to pursue one. This is an excellent opportunity for creative individuals passionate about mentoring the next generation of Estheticians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional guidance to students, offering constructive and timely feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to curriculum standards to meet accreditation requirements.
  • Assist with instructional support, tutoring, and related functions as necessary.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Document student grades and attendance accurately, utilizing the Canvas system.
  • Prepare students for state board examinations.
  • Familiarize oneself with the regulations set forth by the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and other accrediting entities.
  • Offer individualized or small group assistance to enhance students' basic skills.
  • Support student retention by monitoring attendance and engagement in learning activities.

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of verifiable experience as an esthetician.
  • Valid Oklahoma Master Instructor License.
  • Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • Experience in the salon industry is advantageous.
  • Teaching experience in esthetics is preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
