As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for interpreting customer specifications, identifying the best solution for the electrical scope of a project, and creating a cost estimate that meets the customer's needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs for the electrical job scope.
  • Review customer electrical specifications to determine job scope.
  • Create initial electrical specifications.
  • Provide technical expertise to the sales department.
  • Maintain master electrical BOM and/or estimating database.
  • Initiate vendor quotes and pricing for electrical components.
  • Brief Electrical Designer on job scope when turned into an order.
  • Determine if any additional resources or equipment will be needed to complete scope.
Requirements
  • Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, develops alternative solutions, and works well in group problem-solving situations.
  • Quote Management - Coordinates projects, communicates changes and progress, completes assigned quotes on time and budget.
