Job Description

Stratum Networks is a leading provider of information assurance and cybersecurity solutions, offering high-end network and security consulting to Department of Defense and Intelligence Community clients. We are seeking a talented and experienced candidate to support one of our clients located in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with testing and deploying hotfixes/patches/new releases of the tools suite.
  • Develop knowledge articles, documentation, and work instructions used by the Tools Team and tools users.
  • Ensure COTS products function properly in a secure environment with PKI-based authentication, corporate authorization services, firewalls, and SSL/TLS communications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 14 years of experience or HS/GED with 19 years of experience in systems engineering.
  • Strong understanding of event management, system/application health server operating system, agent and agentless monitoring, network, application, and end-point performance, tuning, and measurements.
  • Proficient in Linux/UNIX commands, Windows Server OS, RHEL 7x, 8x, or 9x, and RHEL/Linux Server Administration.
  • Experience with Brocade, Cisco, Juniper JUNOS Network Operating System, Palo Alto, and Web Applications.

Desired Skills:

  • Application/SA experience with the OpenText Ops Bridge Suite.
  • Experience in Python, R, JavaScript, or Perl programming; or UNIX scripting.
  • Experience with OpenText Application Performance Management (APM), OpenText Business Process Monitor (BPM), OpenText OPTIC Data Lake, and OpenText Operations Bridge Reporter (OBR).
