We are seeking a skilled Digital Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team at Prisma Health's Greer Medical Campus. This is a full-time, part-night shift position.

About the Role:

This diagnostic sonographer will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services using advanced medical sonography techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Provides compassionate and personalized care to patients undergoing ultrasound procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Conducts detailed ultrasound examinations, analyzing images to provide accurate diagnoses and contribute to informed treatment decisions.
  • Equipment Operation: Proficiently operates and maintains various ultrasound equipment, adhering to quality control standards and protocols.
  • Clinical Support: Collaborates with healthcare professionals, radiologists, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless clinical workflows and effective communication.
  • Professional Development: Engages in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in medical sonography, industry developments, and best practices.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintains a safe working environment, adhering to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and departmental standards.

Educational Requirements:

  • A completed radiology or sonography program from an accredited institution.
  • Possess a Credentialed Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in medical sonography, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • PACs experience.
  • ARRT in Radiology.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000, depending on experience.
