Job Title: Housekeeper II

Job Summary:

The primary objective of housekeeping is to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our units and common areas. You will be responsible for cleaning units after departures, providing housekeeping services during occupancies, and performing deep cleaning services before and after the resort's operating season.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean units after departures and provide housekeeping services during occupancies
  • Perform deep cleaning services before and after the resort's operating season
  • Execute tasks listed on the Daily Schedule and delegate tasks to other team members as needed
  • Drive company vehicles to perform daily duties, often in extreme weather conditions
  • Understand all processes for amenities, linen service, and operating procedures
  • Complete necessary daily tasks in Streamline
  • Be aware of unit inventories' condition and quantity, and report missing or damaged items
  • Report any damage to units/buildings or any unsafe conditions immediately upon discovery
  • Be knowledgeable of the use and hazards of the chemicals used for cleaning
  • Report and collect all lost/found items, labeling and turning them in to the supervisor daily
  • Maintain a neat, clean appearance at all times in accordance with the employee handbook
  • Promote excellent internal and external customer service to ensure staff and guest satisfaction
  • Utilize Performance Report forms to report non-compliance by fellow housekeepers to management
Work Environment:
  • Moderate physical activity required, including lifting objects up to 30 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours daily
  • Heavy physical activity involving bending, twisting, stooping, climbing stairs, and stretching
  • Use of chemical cleaning agents with proper training and safety precautions
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Adaptability to varying weather conditions
  • Non-smoking environment
