Position Overview & Requirements

The Physical Therapy Assistant at our Wellness Center will work part-time during the day. Under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist, you will implement patient treatment plans as specified. Responsibilities include documenting treatments administered, including objective measurements, and providing care to patients across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient treatments as directed by the treatment plan.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all treatments provided.
  • Conduct selected tests and measurements as instructed by the supervising therapist.
  • Complete established competencies for the role within the designated introductory period.

Onboarding Process: Candidates must successfully complete a background check and a pre-employment health screening, which includes a drug test.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting.
  • Preferred: One year of experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Certifications:

  • Required: Valid State License.
