App Specialist

Seeking an experienced and skilled Surgery House Staff member to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Randallstown, MD. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $50.00-$90.00 per hour, experience-based.

As a key member of our Surgical Team, you will work under the direction of attending surgeons to provide various physician assistant duties and technical procedures on hospital floors, Emergency Room, or other areas. Key responsibilities include:

• Clinical Practice: Provides direct and indirect patient care, prioritizing patient safety and collaborating with healthcare teams.
• Care Coordination: Acts as a liaison between surgeons, referring physicians, nursing staff, and patients, ensuring seamless communication and effective care delivery.
• Medical Procedures: Performs surgical assistant duties, including handling tissue, providing exposure, using instruments, suturing, and tying.

You will also have opportunities to:

• Respond to Emergency Room trauma resuscitation cases.
• Instruct patients on discharge information, home care of wounds, medication use, diet, and other health aspects.

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• American Heart Association CPR Certification.
• NCCPA Certification (CPR Healthcare Provider) and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner license.
