H.J. Larson & Associates Inc. is seeking 15 Cleaning Team Members for a temporary full-time position. Employees may be required to work on weekends and public holidays. The job will start on April 1st, 2025, and end on November 30th, 2025.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various cleaning tasks including making beds, cleaning floors, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, removing soiled linens, and restocking supplies. No special skills or training are required for this role.
The work will take place at multiple locations, including hotels in Marquette. The employer offers a 35-hour work week and pays bi-weekly. Employees will be paid $15.05 per hour. The working hours will be from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Sunday. Overtime is not applicable.
The employer provides all necessary tools, supplies, and equipment. The employment period is expected to last 120 days or more. The employer guarantees to offer a total number of hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
The employer reimburses visa-related fees for H-2B workers in the first work week. Transportation, meals, and lodging costs for H-2B visa workers and non-commuting domestic workers will be provided or reimbursed if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided upon completion of the work contract or early dismissal by the employer.
Upon termination of employment, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable transportation and subsistence costs back to their home or the original departure location. However, if the worker chooses not to return due to subsequent employment or voluntary abandonment, the employer will not be responsible for these costs.
