Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Imaging Quality Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of imaging quality and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and monitor staffing levels and workload requirements to ensure adequate resources for daily operations.
  • Coordinate staff training and education programs, including new equipment orientation and continuing education initiatives.
  • Conduct regular assessments of imaging reports and provide feedback to technologists to improve image quality.
  • Develop and implement clinical education programs for radiology modalities, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and modification.
  • Perform imaging procedures and cover all aspects of patient care in assigned modality.
  • Consult with physician leaders on procedures performed in assigned imaging modality.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain supply levels in the imaging department, ordering and distributing supplies as needed to regulate costs.
  • Develop and maintain processes that support continued accreditation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Two years' experience in radiology or a related field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Radiologic Technologist licensure in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin.
  • Certification in computed tomography (CT), mammography (M), magnetic resonance imaging (MR), nuclear medicine technology (N), or radiography (R) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or other recognized credentialing agency.
Estimated Salary Range

$63,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Working Hours
