Multimodality Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our Imaging Team at Gundersen Health System. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging exams and procedures to aid in medical diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

1. Provide exceptional patient care and service, working with patients and families to ensure a positive experience.
2. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient exam procedures.
3. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to provide high-quality images and diagnostic information.
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, applying knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
5. Participate in quality control procedures and evaluate images to meet ACR and MQSA requirements.
6. Assist with educational programs and training for patients, families, and healthcare staff.
7. Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A post-high school education in a specialized field, such as Radiologic Technology.
• One year of clinical experience in a radiology technology program.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered Technologist-Radiography (ARRT) certification.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification.

This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to infectious diseases. You will be expected to stand for long periods, walk, and perform repetitive actions. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for occasional travel to other sites.
