We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our Imaging Team at Gundersen Health System. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging exams and procedures to aid in medical diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and service, working with patients and families to ensure a positive experience.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient exam procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to provide high-quality images and diagnostic information.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, applying knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality control procedures and evaluate images to meet ACR and MQSA requirements.
- Assist with educational programs and training for patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A post-high school education in a specialized field, such as Radiologic Technology.
- One year of clinical experience in a radiology technology program.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered Technologist-Radiography (ARRT) certification.
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification.
This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to infectious diseases. You will be expected to stand for long periods, walk, and perform repetitive actions. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for occasional travel to other sites.
